Matthew ties Jesus's genealogy back to Abraham, Luke takes it back to Adam, John goes all the way back to God and to the very beginning (John 1:1-2; Genesis 1:1).

As a teacher, Jesus has made God known (John 1:18).

We rejected God but He refused to reject us. God pronounced peace upon His enemies (1 John 4:9-10; Romans 5:6-11).

Jesus loves us, but He loves the Father more (John 14:30-31)

Jesus’s sacrifice was out of His love for the Father and dedication to do His will (Mark 14:36).

God was loving His Son before the creation of the world (John 17:24).

Jesus asked the Father to give those who believe in him the love He showed him before the creation of the world, and that he may be in them (John 17:25-26).

God left heaven to allow sinful creatures to be His spiritual children (John 1:12-14; 1 John 3:1-3).
