Jesus the Good Shepherd
Psalms 100:3 NKJV
[3] Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
Psalms 23:1 NKJV

John 10:11 NKJV

Matthew 25:32-33 NKJV
[32] All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. [33] And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.
Jesus the Gate
John 10:7-9 NKJV
[7] Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. [8] All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. [9] I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.
Psalms 100:4 NKJV
[4] Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
Matthew 7:13-14 NKJV
[13] “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. [14] Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
Luke 13:24 NKJV
[24] “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able.
------------------------
Before Jesus came, Israel accessed God by means of the temple and priests who were the mediators between God and man. Now Jesus is the Temple and the Mediator between God and man. It is only through Him that we are saved. He is the Door, the Gate, to God. The Gate is narrow and difficult, but strive to enter through the narrow Gate because it is the way that leads to life. There are few who find it, though many will try but will not be able.
Jesus is the Good Shepherd of those who enter into His gates through Him. They are His sheep, the people of His pasture. We are His people and He is our God! So enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise! Be thankful to Him, and bless His name!
