A Day of Rememberance

Today is a day of rememberence. Today we remember what God did. Not only that He made the sacrifice for our sins so that we can be forgiven and go to heaven, but also that Jesus's blood is the seal of God's new covenant that He made with His people, and that Jesus's death ushered in the kingdom of God, which Jesus reigns over as King, and where we are His people and He is our God .

“Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah— not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the Lord.
But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the Lord. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.” - Jeremiah 31:31-‬34

"This is my body which is given on your' behalf. Practice' this in my remembrance.
This cup is the new covenant in my blood which is poured out on your behalf" - Luke 22:19,20.

and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.” - Mark 1:15

So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all things take place. - Luke 21:31‭-‬32

And He said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you that there are some standing here who will not taste death till they see the kingdom of God present with power.” - Mark 9:1
